I was reading others posts, and saw that self tend to be defined as related to judments, actions…I tend to consider this as ego, I, not self.\u00c2\u00a0 And in my associations, ego would be a kind of manager that wants to decide and take over the boss – which would be the self. And experiencing awareness, as Robert\u00c2\u00b4s post says, I would consider that the disposition to observe, listen, appreciate is decided by someone who is not ego – but self. And when we start to judge again, it is ego that was included in the play…I am not sure, but I tend to think self as bigger and before than awareness, ego, moods…as the place where the nice image brought by Michael of a bridge and 2 sides are – intentions and expressions.<\/p>\n
And about the readiness to respond, as in Hauward\u00c2\u00b4s post, I associate with predefined drawers we have in our mind. And as soon as we experience sth, we tend to send this th to a drawer we have, where we know how to respond\/ react about things. And if I do not respond automatically, maybe I am not just framing the experience, as usually done, but dealing with it directly. In this way, I think doubt can be a good sign in some cases…sign of prompt questioning of a present situation not departing from ideas we usually think with, before thinking about the ideas to judge and decide.<\/p>\n
