It somehow seemed appropriate to experience technical difficulties with the topic of the week being technological knowledge and the self. \u00c2\u00a0I wanted to speak but my voice was muted. \u00c2\u00a0There was a sense of frustration. \u00c2\u00a0Frustration at not being able to speak. Frustration at not being able to receive the lesson. \u00c2\u00a0Given my muted voice and lack of engagement in the system investigation process I had the opportunity to observe my “self ” and the desires leading to the frustration. \u00c2\u00a0The process of observation brought a broader awareness which seemed to create an opening that allowed the frustration to\u00c2\u00a0dissolve. \u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0But what dissolved? \u00c2\u00a0The situation had not changed, although Jack’s voice did have less static. \u00c2\u00a0The technical difficulties remained and while the self seemed less present I am sure it was still there hiding from the light my observation was throwing its way. \u00c2\u00a0No conclusion, just interesting to note that the emotion that the self created with its desires seemed less concrete and real when I turned inward to investigate the self. \u00c2\u00a0 Robert<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
