Shifting focus from “owning” a situation to being a “given part” of a situation. Knocked my socks off–a work situation (my main playground) that has been tense for me for years relaxed into “team.” Team is a big deal for me. My experience with LOK 5 stimulated the idea that sometimes “team” happens organically, but when it doesn’t that doesn’t mean that “team” can’t be nurtured into being. Going beyond that notion, LOK 5 supports my hunch that despite my drive to form and to be part of “team,” I have something to do with “team” AND with “non-team.” New knowledge.<\/p>\n
Gaynor commented on the “flow” that he’s experienced with disowning tension. I read his post after writing mine and I’d say that “flow” describes what I sensed. As usual, I’m intrigued with how much of the time I’m not in the “flow” despite trying so hard to be! I’d go on to say that I don’t *trust* flow to keep me afloat in a work environment. Trust is a concept I’ve been playing with lately. I’m not as familiar with TSK as many of you and wonder if “trust” comes up directly in any of the readings or exercises.<\/p>\n
