I had been going through a personally trying time.<\/p>\n
In observing the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in action, it was noted that much of my reaction was to whether to whether or not events were going as I desired.<\/p>\n
In response to this insight I have been practicing non-preference. I had thought such an approach might leave me indifferent, without emotion. However, I still have a variety of emotional responses available, but they\u00c2\u00a0 are not to whether or not perceived events match my preference.<\/p>\n
I am finding the responses that occur, as I relax preference, to be far more fitting, helpful and useful. Additionally, the trying time has eased.<\/p>\n
