On the eighth day Adam and Eve invented Post- It’s (3″ x 3″ yellow pieces of paper with a sticky edge) and they called them “good”. \u00c2\u00a0From thenceforth if anything quacked like a duck and walked like a duck, they would write “duck” on a post-it and stick it on the “duck’s” back. \u00c2\u00a0And when they were told not to eat a certain red, juicy fruit they wrote “don’t eat this” on a post-it and stuck it to the fruit. \u00c2\u00a0At first all went well enough, but one day a serpent slithered into the garden and stole the post-it off the forbidden fruit. \u00c2\u00a0 With no label forbidding them to eat of the “Tree of Life”–there was another post-it declaring it thus near the base of the trunk–Adam and Eve, in all innocence, did eat of that fruit. \u00c2\u00a0Then something weird happened. \u00c2\u00a0The gates of Paradise sprung open, millions of post-it’s flew across the land, and Adam and Eve started sticking the first post-it that came to hand onto whatever object seemed to need a name. \u00c2\u00a0Then no longer did a duck have to quack like a duck in order to “be” a duck. –Michael<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
