I sipped a cold coke, suddenly, a space or field expanded allowing for sensations of icy cold, very sweet, and perhaps a hint of salty fizz. The taste field seemed to be linked to another field of touch\/feeling; the tongue at first, but expanded to include the entire inside of the mouth, cold against teeth and gums, the back of the throat. The act of swallowing brought another field of sensual feeling as the cold spread through the chest and into the pit of the stomach. <\/p>\n
Another, much larger field seemed to be in operation too, which was aware of both taste and feel, and also that I was sitting comfortably in a chair while a seeing field surveyed the view under the maple trees off to the emerald-green field of tall grass beyond. While the listening field was available, ready to expand with any stimulation, any sound, but there was hardly any, not even the usual ringing. The quality of the whole experience was comfortable and pleasant, wide open, fresh and new. A nourishing moment.
