Unable to sleep I decided to sit up and meditate. I felt good, enjoying the moment. My breath felt almost mint cool on the inside of my nostrils, the darkness behind my closed eyelids swirled with an almost green tint. My body felt warm and comfortable, energized. I felt the bottoms of my feet touching as I had them pulled up almost beneath me and I rested my hands, palms up, thumb and forefinger slightly touching. Each point of contact was felt as a boundary, but then I was aware of the sounds both in the room and far off extending me far beyond my touching points.
