With some TSK exercises I have the feeling that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not sure if I understand what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s being asked; suspect I may have totally misunderstood, am not approaching it right, don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know how\/where to look, or am not ready for this at all, and think that everyone else knows what they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re doing! This week\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s task elicits such feelings in the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 that is typing.<\/p>\n
Then I wonder if there would even be any sense of \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 had it not been taught and learnt from a pre-verbal stage no longer accessible by memory.<\/p>\n
So \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I just determined to focus on subject-object and see what happens…<\/p>\n
I also went ahead and did the reading for next week and practised TSK Ex 29 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Awareness as a Reflective Surface<\/em>. I seem to \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcget\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 some exercises easily, and this is one of them. I love it (and am working on a posting about it which I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll keep till next week)<\/p>\n AND it seemed to create an instant shift in the subject-object challenge: it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s as though the world tilts and possibilities previously obscured from view become available to be seen. There are subjects everywhere \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and objects: hand feels cup, cup has tea as object; hand feels warmth which in its turn holds tiny multitudinous chemical reactions as its object, which in turn…it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s like an interwoven web of nested subjects and objects, none of which can be singled out as the primary subject or object; all witnessed in a huge, vast Seeing-Field.<\/p>\n Then \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 discover \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcmyself\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 in \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcthe kitchen\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 – solidly established as a subject obsessively focusing on an imagined future in which I firmly want a specific outcome.
