I thought about bright lights. Here in Germany spring is beginning. Soemtimes the light is new, bright and fresh. I went through a beech-forest. The very young leafs reflected the light of the sun: it was a very intense light green. In another situation after a rain in an fir-forest, the raindrops hang on the needles of the trees and the sun began to shine: there were many very bright lights in many colours. And I\u00c2\u00b4m surprised: the little, sometimes weak candle light (of an exercise)\u00c2\u00a0begins to shine. And it seems to me, that in holy prayers and sayings there are connections to light: For example in the beginning of Samantabhadras Prayer of Enlightened Practice (“In all the world of the ten directions…) or in the christian bible, when St. John (I don\u00c2\u00b4t know the correct english name) tells of seeng to the ground of the sea, when water and fire are mixed..<\/p>\n
I worked with seeing light also in my resistance and in my – sometimes – bad mood. At once I felt a reaction in my belly, a warm moving – my reactions and mood changed.<\/p>\n
At the same time I asked, what is happening? It seemed that I were in this moment on a meta level. (I don\u00c2\u00b4t know how to describe it in a more correct way) .Was it a running away from my bad feelings (or in other situations: the feelings of another person)? It was another quality than usual, when I touch the feelings of a person, and I stayed (when I visualized light) in contact with my surroundings. Does this mean:” Not caught up”(so much) “in the flow of events”? (KTS, p. 491)<\/p>\n
And with the readings: My mind does not understand what is told, he lives on a “low” level. But at the same time:\u00c2\u00a0I feel a reaction in my belly, he seems to understand something. Is it possible, that – in my situation of understanding – my body grasps what my mind is not able to understand?<\/p>\n
