The \u00e2\u20ac\u015316 points\u00e2\u20ac\u009d seem to be a projection, since the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d is compelled to reach out in search of a home for itself.\u00c2\u00a0 In the light of the TSK vision, this projected reaching out is made possible by the allowance of space, in the freedom the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d experiences to engage with whatever environment it discovers.<\/p>\n
The strange (symbolic) presentation of a world view in which 16 other points provide \u00e2\u20ac\u0153completion\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for a zero point, seems true to how we have mysteriously emerged into consciousness (\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I am here\u00e2\u20ac\u009d) and then have no choice but to reach out and populate the more diversely articulated space we discover around us.\u00c2\u00a0 More radically, this reaching out is then presented as involving the construction of a track, joining the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153here\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in its \u00e2\u20ac\u0153being\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, with several \u00e2\u20ac\u0153there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, that show up like 16 train-depots, providing destination, purpose, and orientation for the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
We might well ask if it adds anything to this picture to call the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, its reaching out, and its discovery of an environment\u00e2\u20ac\u201d\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Space projecting space into space\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
To quote a Jewish prayer: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153If not now, when?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
It seems that this entire, strange version of how we relate to our environment, may actually require the concept of space if we are even to comprehend it.\u00c2\u00a0 Interestingly, the 16 points may not require us to actually notice them, as a baby discovers a mobile spinning above her crib.\u00c2\u00a0 They seem to step forth just as vigorously as the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d steps out from its here-ness.\u00c2\u00a0 Perhaps the \u00e2\u20ac\u015316\u00e2\u20ac\u009d points are also \u00e2\u20ac\u0153space projecting space into space\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, and the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153here\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, meets its \u00e2\u20ac\u0153companions in time\u00e2\u20ac\u009d half way.<\/p>\n
The \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d seems to bring a space of consciousness into a kind of space that does not require its own locus of consciousness in order to provide orientation for the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
For these \u00e2\u20ac\u015316\u00e2\u20ac\u009d points to provide \u00e2\u20ac\u0153completion\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for the zero point (which mysteriously erupts as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I am here\u00e2\u20ac\u009d), it seems that relationship is needed.\u00c2\u00a0 Without relationship with others it seems that the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d could not enjoy a sense of completion, but would remain a subject facing off against its objects-of-interest.\u00c2\u00a0 Even if 16 objective references were to arise and ground the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u009d it seems that a sense of completion also requires that we feel ourselves flowing within a larger whole\u00e2\u20ac\u201da whole that completes and embraces us while allowing us the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153space\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153be\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ourselves \u00e2\u20ac\u0153here\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153now\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153universal unique\u00e2\u20ac\u009d points toward these dual faces of our existence as living beings: we are unique in our I-am-here-ness but we cannot thrive unless we find completion in the universe that embraces us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
