Greetings all,<\/p>\n
I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been hesitant to share my notes because I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m new to TSK and unsure if I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m on the right track.\u00c2\u00a0 Only one way to find out.\u00c2\u00a0 Today I decided to take a long walk to and around a nearby mountain lake.\u00c2\u00a0 I thought the walk would be a good way to look at space in a non-content way and also to explore space in memory.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
From my rural home, I can see great distances of plains and mountain ranges, so space in\u00c2\u00a0content\u00c2\u00a0is something that is natural to observe.\u00c2\u00a0 As I walked, I realized I would have to dissolve that awareness in order to consider space in a non-content manner.\u00c2\u00a0 (I am having a little bit of difficulty with this part of the exercise.)\u00c2\u00a0 I often contemplate the volume and distance of the mountains to the east, west and north and how deceptive their sizes seem from a distance.\u00c2\u00a0 I consider the way they are ripples on the earth and I am walking on the earth that pushed them toward the sky.\u00c2\u00a0 But that is content?<\/p>\n
Considering space within memory was more comfortable.\u00c2\u00a0 As I walked, I felt clear, full (contented)\u00c2\u00a0and alert.\u00c2\u00a0 The experience brought sensory and feelings memories of different times and places where I have experienced autumn.\u00c2\u00a0 The memories didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t feel like memories; they felt present, or I was present within those spaces in time.\u00c2\u00a0 It didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t feel like concentric or nested memories; it was like a calm collage of pleasant senses <\/em>and feelings<\/em> rather than a here and a there, or a then and a now.\u00c2\u00a0 It was as if each memory were a puzzle piece placed together within one present and completed puzzle.<\/p>\n As I neared home, the path returned to granite stones and dirt, a pleasant sound of crunching with each step.\u00c2\u00a0 Though such crunching walking is a sound I enjoy, it\u00c2\u00a0brought me back into the content of this glorious environment.<\/p>\n Thank you, (I inadvertantly posted first under General Comments but was unsure how to delete from that page.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Greetings all, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been hesitant to share my notes because I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m new to TSK and unsure if I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m on the right track.\u00c2\u00a0 Only one way to find out.\u00c2\u00a0 Today I decided to take a long walk to and around a … Continue reading
