I recently watched an interesting\u00c2\u00a0lecture by Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor; she suffered a stroke and describes\u00c2\u00a0the experience\u00c2\u00a0in detail.\u00c2\u00a0 I found it helpful with my practice.<\/p>\n
http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UyyjU8fzEYU<\/a><\/p>\n I’d been\u00c2\u00a0approaching TSK\u00c2\u00a0with a lot of main stream\u00c2\u00a0reasoning and was\u00c2\u00a0feeling a bit lost.\u00c2\u00a0Her story prompted me to\u00c2\u00a0“switch off” my left brain. That reduced the question & answer calamity in my head\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0I was able, as a\u00c2\u00a0silent spectator, to\u00c2\u00a0experience space.<\/p>\n I’ll try to describe\u00c2\u00a0the\u00c2\u00a0new\u00c2\u00a0experience, but\u00c2\u00a0it’s\u00c2\u00a0hard to find adequate\u00c2\u00a0words as\u00c2\u00a0it takes place in a dimension without dialogue.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Here goes:<\/p>\n These words seem terribly inadequate.\u00c2\u00a0 For now I’ll attempt to feel my experience\u00c2\u00a0rather than think about it.\u00c2\u00a0 The thinking seems to block my path.<\/p>\n Bye for now,\u00c2\u00a0D.
