HOME\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n

When I receive a new poem by TSK Instructor, Ken McKeon [almost every day]… It rings like a gentle gong\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s round-sound filling hollows within \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 I feel a rising of mind-waters resounding as I absorb the words, I attempt to fathom where they point, and intuit what the currents uncover\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 They often lead to primordially fresh encounters\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 before I impute distance between, and prior to erecting edges, and stamping labels, and way before collecting and categorizing them. Like a call to prayer, time can become more spacious, perception more accommodating, and awareness brighter. A more subtle focus opens, as if clouds clear, and clarity shines. I often feel home\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 a foundational \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcplace\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153As you come to know this foundational \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcplace\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, you can see how ordinary experience arises out of it. A sense of being becomes \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcbeing here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122; from this arises \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcbeing here in time\u00e2\u20ac\u2122. Presence becomes presence \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcof \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcsomething, which is then established and felt to exist. Existence becomes \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI am\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, which is felt to be identical with the original sense of being. Familiarity with this interplay opens the possibility of contacting awakened consciousness.<\/em>\u00e2\u20ac\u009d

OF SAND AND SEA

A flat of sand is one thing,
\nA dry white spread,
\n A crust of a sun dried beach,
\nIt lies far from the present water line,
\n Step barefoot down on it,
\n And it cracks up, <\/p>\n

Its shelves crumble into individuated tiny silicates,
\n Into a pleasing granularity,
\nThe finest dots
\n Sifted through a child\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mind,
\nHis fingers in love with the rough warmth,<\/p>\n

But you can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t castle it up,
\n You need water for that,
\nNot the whole sea with its
\n Gazillion or so gallons water,<\/p>\n

Just a wet bit,
\n A tad beyond damp,
\n You well might wait hours
\n For the tide to bring it to you,
\nAnd it will,
\nTakes a slow spell of time,
\n A magical shift,
\n One massive beating
\n Of a vastly big heart,
\nIt will arrive on its own,<\/p>\n

Or you can enter it yourself
\n Step by step until you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re all in,
\nThere is sand somewhere below you,
\n But that hardly matters,
\n You are now at sea,
