Poem written by TSK instructor and student, focuses at the point of arising<\/em>… near the origin of thought…<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The rough touch of words\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 These cold forms could be my wintry loves\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 How they play out like wind, How they ripple through the morning air, How they carry bee to blossom, Fragrance to lungs, Beating to the heart\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 those sounds are useless now, They are mere puffs of air, They hold briefly, Then they pass away, What would they have to say about this \/ Unmoving stream of edgy forms\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

WITHOUT SAYING

Before me are ribboned light forms,
\nA broadly silken frozen stream
\n Of colorless tie-dyes
\n All chilled out ice, and all so bemusing,
\nThey remain apart
\nFrom any living thing at all,
\nTalk about cool,<\/p>\n

The sun has no hold on them
\nNo purchase, nowhere to grasp,
\nI see them and consider them
\nAs I loaf along a trackless river bank,<\/p>\n

I must be a shade to be out this afternoon,
\nA ghostly sort, no substance at all,
\n My legs bear no weight,
\n My steps leave no prints,
\n That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not surprising,
\n Not in this weather,<\/p>\n

These cold forms could be my wintry loves,
\nI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d like to speak to them,
\nMy tongue has never forgotten
\nThe rough touch of words,
\nHow they play out like wind,
\nHow they ripple through the morning air,
\nHow they carry bee to blossom,
\nFragrance to lungs,
\nBeating to the heart,<\/p>\n

But those sounds are useless now,
\nThey are mere puffs of air,

Knife and hatchet,
\nFlat and tilted plain,
\nOnly that ice obtains today,
\nChill and beautiful,
