Mood flavors Now&#8230; like the receding surf back-washing into crashing waves at the edge of the future\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s presence\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 the granular feel of pain from tease to torment, and too, there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s release into the expanse of open appreciation, a full-bodied caring, heartfelt and essential\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all there, available in the flow\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 <\/p>\n<p>DOWNSIZED<br \/>\n\tby Ken McKeon<\/p>\n<p>The plus of a good memory<br \/>\nHas fallen off the charts,<br \/>\nI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m standing now<br \/>\nIn the minus corner,<\/p>\n<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m something of a dunce,<br \/>\nAmiably moody, totally adverse<br \/>\nTo everything that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s wrong,<br \/>\nWhatever that is,<\/p>\n<p>I shake my head at what I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve come to be,<br \/>\nI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m metronomic, a wig-wag, a counter,<br \/>\nI think that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s right,<br \/>\n      It could be otherwise,<\/p>\n<p>It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s time for me to loosen up,<br \/>\nI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll run through clover later<br \/>\n    When the sun breaks through<br \/>\n      The cloudy room that is my mind,<\/p>\n<p>How on earth might that happen?<br \/>\nEven the floating by of a soft grey moth<br \/>\n    Could do the trick,<br \/>\nA dusky presentation of another life<br \/>\n     Settling down on the lawn,<br \/>\n        Its easy wings relax,<br \/>\n            The warmth is good,<\/p>\n<p>There are blessings everywhere I look.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ken\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s poem reminds, moments are time\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 like the weather, ever changing.
