A thought…

It occurred to me that, in this country anyway, we’ve been hearing a lot about “pyramid schemes“. I was thinking of the parallel between such a scheme and ‘single minded knowing‘. The pyramid scheme is based on the impossible promise of … Continue reading

Future Infinitive – Unit 3, Week 6

Last week while watching moments begin and end, I observed myself in the act of ‘freezing’ experience by ‘coming-out‘ as an identity located here. And I also alternately relaxed or released that identity and its location, by returning to the … Continue reading

Time Blossoms – Week 4

Lately, I feel time hidden within the evident. The seed of spring has been emerging from the roan and russet contours of the winter soil. Each day has been like waking up to time-lapse photography; changes in the field out back … Continue reading

The Founding Story of the Self (week 7)

I thought of I want as a feeling coming from something felt to be lacking; a desire for what I thought would fulfill the lack. Some answers to this question were: a job, financial independence, and continued good health.  There were moments … Continue reading

Self Interpretation – (Week 6)

I appear to be on a single track with my posts regarding searching for work, but it’s the stuff of my experience right now. And so last week we were asked to observe the differences between a story and a model. … Continue reading

Defining Stories – Unit 2, Week 4

I’ve watched the currents of so many personal stories over time that looking back seems like peering into an aquarium filled with liquid. In the stream of stories, I get the feeling I’m like a fish swimming in them, not … Continue reading
