Picture an Orange Ball

Some of you may recall an exercise Jack gave us in a previous course in which students were asked to picture an orange ball. During the process of visualizing an orange ball we got to see directly, in our own mental space, how we structure space, we saw how we attempt to filter out and distil an image from memory and imagination. It was a fascinating peek into field dynamics.

I got the link below from Bruce’s Facebook page, and it reminded me of the orange ball exercise. I see some of my mental visualizations actualized in this short video, but I find my own mental visualizations more involved but less defined than the video. However, the video crystallizes in a way my mental structuring (visualizing) couldn’t clarify. If you’ve tried the “Picture an Orange Ball” exercise, check out the video.
