Can a moment be outside of time?

Marcia asks this question in a comment: “When it feels “outside time,” can this experience be expressed in terms of the word “moment?”

I think the answer has to be no. Moments are inside time. But the answer also has to be yes. If we go ‘outside of time’, we are still evoking the temporal dimension.

This may not matter so much as a theoretical point. The real issue is if there is a way to evoke time that does not depend on moments, and whether the exercises help us get there.

Ah well, we’re moving on to the next section tomorrow. But the question remains open, right?
