I trust you have received my description of an idea for a Multi Media Show to introduce TSK to a wider audience. I have now completed my first attempt at an interactive script. Jack has responded positively and given me useful feedback. For this to progress, I need to involve a group of people currently active in professional theatre and/or film.
If you know anyone in the world of film or theatre who might be interested in this idea, could you put me in touch with them. We will need: musicians, dancers, a director and funding.
Originally I had grand ideas of a full scale ‘West End’ style production or equivalent film. To start with, I see that we may need to start more simply: with two readers, five dancers and a small group of live musicians.
That said, my ideal company to present this show would be Cirque du Soleil. The final scene calls for the visual presentation of ‘A Unifying Clarity’ (TSK Ex: 32). If CdS did this, it could be enacted by many trapeze performers simultaneously suspended in mid air in a darkened theatre, each holding a tiny, bright light.
Another future possibility for this show is a 3D movie.

I have sat with this and believe it can be done and would be of benefit.
However, the narration needs to be as entrancing as the visuals. Rinposhe can not be quoted in his entirety. Only the best of his language need be employed; the evocative and poetic. The narration needs to be “trance inducing”; an invitation and pointing to a new way of knowing.
I love the sections of the teaching you seek to highlight and would sequence them in a developmental manner such that currents of movement and aliveness are visually depicted in the embryo and then in the full human adult living form. These living forms then relate to the living space that surrounds, forming interactive patterns of knowing that form the realm of ordinary appearance.
The idea of a living field of interactive pattern might be accomplished by having a soft pattern of light illuminating the stage on which all action occurs. This soft pattern can also be revealed within all the forms that appear in the stage
In any event I assume you will be involved with all those nuances. My major suggestion is that the narration not contain some of the explanation found in your TSK quotes, but rather the narration proclaim the vision; time and space as matrix and intrinsic ingredient of appearances. The dancing movement of visual light demonstrate how light becomes form and form becomes vibrational space.

No , I still have not been able to see the script.
Yes, I will be at the retreat.
See you then

I do not have any money. I do not know anyone in film or theater. However, if you can not get Morgan Freeman to narrate, I would like to audition. I have early radio experience and I am a trained voice reader.

Does this mean that you have now been able to read the MMS post?
Would you like to see my first attempt at a script? This has received positive feedback from Jack, but there’s a long way to go yet.
Thanks so much for volunteering to be one of the Readers. I wouldn’t mind being the other in a semi-professional production (I have a drama degree, come from a theatrical background but never worked in theater professionally). Doubt if Martin Freeman would do it (:-)) but he wouldn’t be my first choice anyway.
So now we have Britta Hauenschild, who teaches TSK in Germany and is a professional flautist, you and me – our company is growing!! Will you be at August TSK retreat? That would be a good time to take this further. I will be in CA for 6 weeks June to August, which gives a span of time to evolve this project. Look forward to further communications.

I must be out of the loop. I have not received your description of an idea for a Multi Media Show. How can I “get current”
Hayward
I can not get in. The above says ” these are class materials. You must log in to view”
