Escaping the Black Hole

Many times in our life we feel like sucked into situations through the repetition of patterns of thought and behavior. In the arena of experience we seem to be “outside” to control it but what actually happens is that we are controlled by our predispositions and concerns. It seems like we are trapped in a continuous movement, a drive we have difficulty to see and to use in our benefit.

Knowledge of Time and Space – KTS suggests the existence of an all inclusive field of experience and appearance, where all elements are given together, which transforms itself according to the dynamics of its components.

The field is pervasive and “dramatic” changes are rare. An underlying force, a kind of gravity, sustains a mechanism according to which everything operates. Gravity pulls on new experience as the gravity of a black hole might pull on distant matter. A black hole is a region of space-time  from which gravity prevents anything, including light, from escaping.

The gravity within the field mechanics assures its operation in a conventional predetermined way. The possibilities allowed by field are the only one available.

But besides this conventional way, the field can present itself in a in a nonstandard, even miraculous way.

KTS states that the fields of psychological domain allow for a fluidity that makes a degree of transformation seem potentially within reach. Shifts in mood and outlook might point toward changes that affect field structures in a way that the law of gravity could suddenly be repealed.

We normally don´t perceive this gravity, this strong impulse. Dynamics of Time and Space – DTS points that if we regard our thoughts and our mind playfully this mechanism can be weakened. We can relax the rigid structures we normally accept as essential.

The gravity of thinking is the force that anchors substance and reality but if we reflect on the changes in our views over time, our predispositions and concerns, there is the chance of appreciating them and letting go the tight positions we hold. By seeing beyond our own immediate views, we can weaken the gravity of thoughts. DTS 256

Around the black hole there is an horizon of possibilities: of being pulled in or escaping the black hole towards light, meaning less weight and more clarity.

KTS report that our experience of time, space and knowledge may alter from moment to moment, and if we acknowledge and appreciate such changes for what they are, not affected by our views, concerns and predispositions, may signal a creativity available.

The power of significant changes is no more due to the gravity within the field but due to its operation in a nonstandard and miraculous way.

    Hi Eliana,

Some thoughts about your post. You keep open different possibilities for considering our relationship with an underlying field:

“what happens is controlled by our concerns . . .”
“fields of psychological domain allow for a fluidity” that makes transformation seem possible
“the gravity of thinking is a force that anchors . . .”
“our experience may not have to be (completely or always) affected by our concerns . . . ”

You seem to be suggesting that “significant changes”can come about which are not governed by “field gravity”, as if we could escape from the pull of a black hole.

    A further question arises :
–do we just have to wait for such moments and the grace they confer?
–or can we, through understanding and willingness to change, open a window so that miracles have a way into our lives?

    Michael
