Thanks for posting this link! Excellent talk.
For anyone interested in going into this in greater detail I highly recommend Sheldrake’s book that is mentioned, “Science Set Free” (American title). Very well reasoned, lots of supporting evidence presented. I think his books and talks present very important “open inquiry” material.
Because we have grown up within cultures where these unexamined materialist assumptions dominate, it is very common for us to have adopted many of these assumptions without even realizing it. Science Set Free confronts these assumptions (which may be subconscious) in an intelligent helpful way: a great exercise in Open Inquiry.
I believe mainstream Science will eventually head in the direction he and others are pointing, let’s hope it is sooner rather than later.
