I wrote quite a long piece in response to listening twice to Jack reading KTS Chap.94 (414-417), but I see that somehow it didn’t get posted. (Must have pressed the wrong button). Unfortunately I didn’t save handwritten or typed version. My comments were directly in response to Jack asking if hearing the passage read slowly was helpful. I experience that the effort of the reader to comprehend while reading increases the power of the transmission of the passage (like the idea that two minds are better than one to solve a problem). Also mentioned that in the UK study group we’ve been taking it in turns to read aloud; passing the book and each reading a short passage. Balancing seeing with hearing and the varied voices allow for other dimensions to contribute to the way the text is experienced. It seems considering visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning styles is important in teaching TSK. The beauty and power of the text combined with its intrinsic poetry is one of the main reasons behind my wanting to develop a Multi Media Show to communicate this Vision to a much wider audience.
