We might sense the potential for a moment before this moment is caught up in the ‘logos’ of the ‘order’. This potential is sensed as pure space. In this space, Being can take occupancy.
The character of existence not conditioned by the logos of the order might best be considered the free dimension of ‘zero’.
In approaching this ‘zero point’, we can sense a quality in appearance… This quality could be said to be ‘prior’ to the structure that identifies ‘moments’ or designates ‘outsiders’. It might be understood as a gateway, a ‘first’ moment of presence without presupposition, of space that is pure and undisturbed. KTS 89
Today, I was driving in town. The person next to me was in a bad mood and I caught myself complaining about her. All of a sudden, I remembered the exercise “Glowing Journey in Time†in LOK 277. The exercise invites us to work with each memory. As each memory appears, let it expand in the quality of light it bears, and to assign this glowing energy a positive feeling.
Therefore, recalling the irritating speech of the person next to me, I tried to suffuse it with the light all around me: the red light of the back of the car in front, the traffic light, the grey and opaque sky, and the luminosity of the surrounding. As the light was more and more present, I tried to merge it with space.
This luminous space brought soft feelings and fewer thoughts about the recent memory that pop up. The frozen logos gave way to a floating temporality, a time that moves without moving. No more conditioned by the logos I found a zero point, a gateway that allowed me to be present and undisturbed.
Time now is available as a luminous energy independent of motion. The manifested energy is like the glow of life in a living being at rest: dynamic without the need for movement. KTS 92
