The light we need

Sharing Tarthang Tulku’s words from “Lotus Mandala”, pages 265-266

“Recognizing our connection to time and space, we begin to touch an awareness that is more truly universal. Nothing is set apart; nothing is left out. The eyes of compassion look in all directions, even into the act of seeing itself. As the point of awareness expands in all directions, seeing becomes intrinsic to the seen.

The point that is the lotus opens, and we see that the universe is unfolding at the heart of all specificity.

The point that is the present opens, and we find luminous within it all possible moments of time.

The point that is being opens. Our way, our journey, our path of liberation, is the manifestation of beauty. The mandala of our juncture offers light to light, beauty to beauty, mystery to mystery.

We are the star field that we see; here, now, we are shining.”

Happy New Year!!!
