TIME OUT…
Right Now the Past is happening still… yes, in a manner of speaking, you have memories in Now space, as a point or moment holds the whole… and even conflicting conceptual things can be so… at the same time, in the same space…no distance… by opening the conceptual partitions that we presuppose, space opens and Time unfolds, clarity avails…
“To attain this ‘knowingness’ we can begin with objects and experiences, using them to work back to the knowingness and clarity which they bear. Then, using that clarity, we can SEE ALL EXPERIENCES AS BEING PRESERVED IN A COMMON GROUND IN SUCH A WAY THAT THERE IS NOTHING SEPARATING THEM, one from the other. Our experience of last year and our experience of today both have the same clarity within them, and that clarity shows that they are even more fundamentally linked—THE IDEA THAT ONE IS ‘PREVIOUS’ TO THE OTHER IS INCORRECT. The previous is not previous, the distant is not distant.â€

TIME OUT
By Ken McKeon
Enumerated thought blobs
Loop on through my bulbous mind,
Most all of them are beyond speech,
Or to the side,
What I mean is
They are the underbelly,
Maybe the overhead,
Actually I can’t really tell,
I want to report accurately,
But about what?
Better to sink into the grand surround,
That’s impressive,
It’s sort of like a cubby hole,
Without jackets, rain hats, lunch pails,
It’s where I go at nap time,
I crawl into it when no one’s looking,
I like the silence there,
It’s shadowy quiet,
There are no heartbreaks , no screams, but maybe some laughter,
It’s quiet like the rain is, in between the falling drops,
I look to that,
I find a pool, a pond,
There are dragonflies,
They skim across my mind,
I love their colored wings, thin and magical,
They strike me as the air does in the evening,
And I get sleepy, still,
It’s then that sometimes a great blue heron
Slowly drives on through
The empowering sky
And I lift off as a god might
And find myself quite simply everywhere,
And I find myself being wonderfully beyond.
Reminds me of a quote I read in the “past”:
“Every moment is the same moment from a different point of view.”
