If you can find the subtle, it can anchor the rest of your day… allowing a return to that loving openness at any moment thereafter…

MORNING TIME
by Ken McKeon

Early morning dim mind sleepy still,
I need a muted horn
To move the day,
I’ll start off with the blues,
A touch of sadness is enough
To carry me to my heart,

It’s there the day starts
Like a quiet appeal,
Let’s work things out,
I’ll do my best,
I’ll make mistakes,
But your presence alone
Brings on a smiling
Kind of hopefulness,
That’s enough to go
On for right now.
