Transitional constructions

I’m borrowing this phrase from Michael’s post. It relates to my previous post, about the difficulty of finding movement in time.

Let me connect that to our Sunday phone calls. When most of the phone calls go by with me talking and explaining, I grow concerned that I am too focused on the past rather than on the transitional constructing of the phone conversation. In other words, to put it more directly, I am always wishing that there were more exchange in the phone calls, that we were co-constructing. At the same time, I appreciate the value of helping to clarify what the TSK vision offers us. At a certain point, an explanation or reflection can open up an unexpected domain, where all is fresh and dynamic, and we can look differently.
