NUCLEAR TIME…

In TSK we describe the ‘zero-point’ of perception as the ‘instant’ available time unfolds and we begin the process of conducting what we take as meaningful. But just prior to that zero-point, just before we begin to conduct knowledge, there is… the zero-less… We call this “differently dimensioned timing, ‘nuclear time’.” ‘Dynamics of Time and Space,’ p. 149

“In ancient times and down to this day, there have been those who see and feel this beauty directly. Priests and worshippers, yogins and thinkers, writers and scholars, scientists and mathematicians, artists and poets have discovered ways to contact the subtle part of the spirit given in the light communiqué. The ancient tradition that worshipped light as a symbol of the divine may have understood this interplay. Today a trace survives in the ways we link light with realization. At the edge of our thinking, the quality of light still makes itself known; beyond perception of the object, the perception of projection continues to be available.” DTS p.206 (emphasis added)

I feel the echo of this light of knowing when I read Ken’s poem…

SPIN
by Ken McKeon

I’m no Martian,
I’ve
No red sand holidays
Scheduled that I know of
In the long astral
Temporizing eon clad
Star spun years to come,
In point of fact I’m dead,
I’m pared down
To a few
Circulating subatomic
Particles of time,
Not quite random,

Not like the spare notes
Of a late quartet
That fall
Into the ears
As an understanding
That all that ever was or could be yet
Is coming to an end,
I’m much less than that,
Not nearly as ennobling,
I’m just a faint spin,
Not quite a softly mumbled word
That might break
The silence that we all become,
Just a spin, just a last twirl around the floor of time,
If you should happen on me,
Please join in,
Who knows…
