Tracing: Story and Fantasy

Peter traces Peter. He writes that tracing is narrow, accurately defined. I am not sure that is whole story about tracing. After all, DTS talks about tracing a dynamic (xxxiii). And Peter after his tracing does not end up in an expected place. Consider also DTS xxxvi (I used the CD):

What if we could trace time’s conducting differently, looking directly to the dynamic of its presencing?

if we do this tracing in a way that evokes the dynamic of time, this seems to protect us from confusing fantasy with experience. But even if we fall into fantasy, there may be knowing there as well.

  1. Peter says:

    Thank you for your responses!!
The tracing changes: I see the little tube, that means, that now (!) I am seeing more than the tube, the space around the tube. And the places: they seemed blank (leer), but I di´n´t look very carefully. Now they are full of dynamik, former nice and terrible experiences. The feeling is a little like going after a rain through a forest (young coniferous forest), the sun is shining and I´m surrounded of countless little precious stones, reflecting the sunlight in many colours.
