Hi,ÃŒ`m back from a 6 day retreat and I saw a lot of writings of you all. I did this ex. with big “fun” and my writing is perhaps “water which is flew down the river”, but for me, remembering this experience, is still fresh.
After initial balance-problems, more, being busy or focused on balance with the lowest “speed”, astonishingly relaxation was setting in and a clarity for the inner calmness. These movements with different effects have an odd result: the complexer, difficult the movement was, the more I “forgot” time and weight. The extension with lifting toes of the leading foot upward and in the moment of the downward motion, when the toes should touch the floor first, all awareness became one feeling, nothing was separated. A very integral, all-in-all-feeling. Although the movements from instructions became more and more complex, the more I felt myself lighter and lighter. Time, space and weight seemed to dissolved themselves. In this exercise melted time-, space- and weight-awareness very subtle together. While the hole exercise was “time” for me movement(in a synonyme usage) and this movement melted now together with “space”. I`ve seldom felt this state of “flux”.
And the perception of weight we all know from spec. Kum Nye-Exerc; when we stretch arms beside and thinking after 10 sec., our arms are so heavy. And 10 min. later, all the time stretched sideward the arms, we think: oh, arms are light like feathers! How that? Sometimes we don`t think about weight- but it is here. Sometimes we don`t think about time – but it flows. This is a deduction- but my “flow of life” flow further in the last 60 min.
Perhaps, it is like dancing. Dancing is most beautiful when we “forget” that we are dancing.
Now I`m conscious, that tomorrow we start with week 4. Best what I can do: no self-pressure about my “backlog”. With new motivation
