Opening Time…

Ken’s poem is an exquisite and alluring invitation to look at the beginnings of time… the dawn of… a day, a moment, a perception, a thought, a feeling, an impression… right there… the opening of time… it’s a beautiful thing… the center of the universe… where the attainment of everything that fulfills is possible…

THE DOTTED LINE
By Ken McKeon

There is a dotted line, it is unsigned,
So there is more than enough room for you,

You can find it
In the furthest corner
Of a box of golden light,

Find that box, that corner, that golden light,
Look for the line,

It’s hard to miss,
It’s horizon long,
Write your life out right there,
Then you’ll be a companion of the dawn,

Each day, all day, forever,

The early lifting clouds

Will brim your heart with rainbows,

Just chance it,
It’s a dotted line,

You have been pre-approved,
Your entire life,
Sign in,
See how it goes.
