But it weighs us down

Myself I could not find the right words but your comment, Jack, about the obstacles to stay with the practise and to poste our experience is helpful. Your suggestion is right. It is somehow hard to see that we are not free. There is always a lineage to the past, each moment another one. And it is difficult to stay aware of the shifts or the time the shift needs for itself. So the awareness mostly is only lasting for some moments! It is helpful to stay with the breath as Arthur said during the last call. Or to stay with the movement of the sounds. I enjoy this practise listening to the birds in the garden.

Sounds work for me also. I like to sit in the park to do that exercise, trying to string together a bunch of moments. -Diana
